Omnibus
Omnibus is a Great Books curriculum for grades 7–12 that teaches students the lessons from the past in order to live in the present. In Latin, Omnibus means “all-encompassing.”
The Omnibus curriculum from Veritas Press is designed to help enlighten, train, and develop young minds through the study of everything important, long-lasting, and true: the ideas, arguments and expression of the Western Canon as expressed in the Great Books.
Tapestry of Grace is an eclectic program that uses several different educational methods to show students patterns of God’s personality and works in the ancient, dense, and colourful tapestry of human experience. Corrie Ten Boom once described in a poem that she loved to quote, which is called “My life is but a weaving”
The course material focuses on illuminating the greater tapestry of human history so that students might see more of God’s gracious personality through the pattern of His design.
Apologia knows that each child is created and blessed with unique learning styles. Apologia intentionally designed their curriculum to reach out to students in multiple ways and draw them into the subject matter. Their goal is to recognize and support students’ different learning styles and create a home school curriculum to help all students achieve personal success. Apologia’s creation-based curriculum constantly draws students toward a higher order of values and facts. It is a true blessing to be able to define and teach the scientific and mathematical mysteries of the universe to our children from a foundational biblical worldview.
